The common thought is that, in an office, everyone has to be able to do everything to ensure things run smoothly. While everyone should have a basic level of understanding for all general tasks, it can actually be a hindrance to have them fully trained in everything. You wouldn’t ask your quarterback to play wide receiver, why would you do anything differently in your office? Reinforce strengths rather than polishing weaknesses.
